Kamiakin too much for Sunnyside

Kamiakin too much for Sunnyside

It brings a smile to Brian Meneely's heart to watch his team play unselfishly.

So the Kamiakin boys basketball coach should be in good health as long as the Braves three-guard rotation of Tre Joseph, Kylle Robertson and Blake Wagar keep playing the way they did during a 66-30 win over Sunnyside on Tuesday in Kennewick.

The trio combined for 45 points on 17-of-27 shooting as Kamiakin beat the Grizzlies at both ends of the floor, also outrebounding them 41-26.

Robertson led all scorers with 17 points, hitting 6-of-10 shots from the floor. Joseph was 6-for-9 and Wagar finished 5-of-8, including all four attempts from the 3-point line.

The Braves took a 16-8 lead after one quarter and extended it to 53-18 by the fourth quarter, holding Sunnyside to just 10 points between the second and third quarters.
